How to stay warm this winter
I received a wonderful package from my mom today. I guess she does what moms do best: worrying wether we are fed and warm or not. In my case it led to a super warm and fluffy sweater that goes just perfect with my red/orange/pink obsession. It is quite cold in Germany and we have snow in Cologne, which is very unusual. To protect my skin from dryness I have a few little helpers to get me through the winter this year.
The sweater is from Madeleine (yeah, I know… As I said, it was my mom…). The necklace on top is from Zara, the other one in pink is second hand. The shirt underneath is my beloved T from COS.
The one and only Creme de la Mer is pricy but so worth it. There is nothing better for extremely dry skin or very cold weather. You don´t need much of it and can apply it over the areas that need most of attention so it will last you for a while. Embryolisse is the new one in my bathroom. It´s so lightweight, yet nourishing! I love it. Perfect under foundation, too. At night, I love using a little bit of the Clarins Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil. You don´t need much, it lasts forever and gives dry skin the extra mouisture that it needs. The smell is not everone´s taste, I guess (Patchouli…) but I got used to it and get all excited when I open the very handy new bottle with a pipette. During the day I use a little bit of Kiehl`s Ultra Facial Tinted Moisturizer in Light. It covers little blemishes up perfectly and with a bit of a concealer you are good to go in a few minutes. Girls, it has SPF 15, too.
